Contract Specialist - Government/Non-Government

Remote - Boston, MA

Mission of the Position

As the Contract Specialist at Allonnia, you will manage the overall performance, policies, procedures, and compliance of Allonnia’s government and non-government contracting systems and processes to support corporate business objectives related to innovative environmental, waste and remediation products. You will be directly involved with cost and pricing negotiations with clients and directly support information requests and audits by our government and non-government clients.  You will be developing and implementing contracts for products and services that will truly impact the lives of generations of humans on this Earth (and maybe beyond, some day).

Key Criteria/Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related area from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five-ten (5-10) years of related work experience including federal business management, contracting, CAS and FAR compliance, procurement, pricing, and financial reporting.
  • Registered professional or accredited in contract management, federal compliance, etc., is a plus.
  • Previous experience with MS Office Suite, strong experience with MS Excel.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Measurable Accountabilities

 

 

  • Ensure compliance with US Federal Government contracting regulations, including but not limited to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

 

 

  • Direct support of audit compliance by our government clients including the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
  • Ensure Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance with Allonnia acquisition and contracting activities. 
  • Manage compliance of Allonnia’s contracting system and processes that include:

     

     

     

    • Administer/manage contracts, work orders and team subcontracts. Prepare required financial reports and analyses. Confer with project management and other staff concerning contract performance.
    • Review applicable regulations, commercial terms and conditions on moderate to overly complex projects and proposal assignments; this includes solicitations, contracts, work orders, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) etc.
    • Prepare Summary of Offer, Representations and Certifications, and other government standard forms; compile contract-related proposal documents.

     

     

    • Review Allonnia’s main Management Information System (MIS) reporting, including Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPCRs), Price Summary Reports (PSRs), etc. – Advises project staff on use and identify potential project issues and impacts.
    • Track and report on JV and LLCs Governance, JV financial statements, and corporate reporting requirements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
