Mission of the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Research Associate for the Analytical Team with a focus on s X-ray fluorescence Spectrometry. Additionally, this individual will support sample preparation workflows for ICP-OES and HPLC. In this full-time, lab-based role, you will assist in preparing solid and liquid samples for elemental analysis using XRF, & ICP-OES, maintain lab instruments, and support workflows by preparing reagents and samples. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about analytical chemistry and laboratory processes.

Key Criteria/Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters. in biochemistry, chemistry or related field.
  • 0-2 years of laboratory experience or an equivalent combination of education and
  • experience
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Strong Attention to detail & problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team environment
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment


Responsibilities & Measurable Accountabilities

  • Perform a variety of laboratory experiments following SOPs and assist with SOP optimization
  • Operate, maintain, and clean laboratory instruments and glassware according to SOP.
  • Prepare reagents and media.
  • Comply with all safety standards.
  • Maintain a lab notebook; Record and manage data.
